On Monday 1st October 2007 an admirable lady who i am proud to call my Nana was sadly take from this earth after she lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer. She left her dearly loved husband Ron, her two sons Paul and Michael and 5 grandchildren that she doted on.
Dorothy was well known within Billingham for doing her avon rounds. She never went out without a smile on her face and was a kindhearted person. She has left a huge hole in our lives with nobody will ever be able to fill. We all miss her so much.
Never a day goes by when i don't think about you Nana R.I.P. You will never be forgotten.
Well today's been a weird day, my last ever day at school. Where have the years gone ey, doesn't seem two minutes since I was in nursery! It's prom next wednesday, the day I wanted you to be at the most, there'll be tears that day I bet! Sure you'll be there with me though xxxx

Thought i'd just come say hello even though I say hello to you every minute of every day you're probs sick of me by now haha. I've been thinking over the last few days how long you've been gone I miss you so so so much, you always talked about 'when I leave school etc.' well that time has come, I leave in about a month I just wish you were here to see me, I know you'll be looking down though.
3 and a half years later it still hasn't sunk in that you've gone. There's so much I would have liked to do with you and so many things I wish I'd asked you whilst I had the chance.

Merry Christmas Nana, been thinking about you a lot today am still missing you loads even though it's 3 years on, time doesn't heal a thing. I'd give anything to have you here again. Grandad is doing well, cheeky as always haha. I've had the videos of when i was little put onto dvd, what did you dress me in nana !! Anyway, hope you've had a good christmas and have been watching over us all, I know you do because you prove it to me all the time. Nana, it's been 3 years today since I last saw your face, since I last held you hand. It doesn't get any easier with time but I know you're there looking down on me. God proved that day that he takes only the best. Not a day goes by when I don't think of you, you're missed so much by everybody. I love you loads and miss you more than words can say.

I wish I could say hello to you in person but God made it so I can't. I know you're here with me all the time 'cos I can sense it. Grandad misses you cos the other day he just started crying saying "she's dead, she's dead" but I know you're always looking over him to. I have two weeks left of the holidays and then I'm in my last year at school, hasn't that just flew by !! I can't belive it's nearly 3 years since we lost you and I can't wait for that day that we're reunited cos I miss you too much !! Why did it have to be you ??

Happy Birthday Nana, you would have been 64 today. I wish you were here to celebrate with us but I have learnt that God always seems to take the good ones. I am missing you more than ever but I know that you have been really near recently and I can sense you loads. I know that you are going to see Grandad and he knows you're there too in his own little way bless him. I must be really looking like you now cos every week we go and see him he thinks I am you. Adam + Rebekah stayed the other week they're gorgeous, you'd be proud of them. Anyway I'm going to sleep now and we'll be up to give you some flowers this week.

Happy Mothers Day Nana. It's the 3rd one without you ....i can't believe so much time has gone by without seeing you. I wish i could have been physically with you today, but i know you will have been with me as i'm sure you always are. We went to see Grandad today, he's had his hair cut.... looks a lot better haha !
